Zelenskyy: Ukraine refuses to extend agreement on gas transit from Russia

Ukraine doesn't intend to extend the gas transit agreement with Russia, which expires at the end of 2024, and is ready to discuss gas transit from other suppliers via its gas transmission stations in the event of a request from Europe, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, Report informs.
"Nobody will extend the agreement with Russia, that's it. As for gas transit from other companies, if some of our European colleagues continue to request, and we are all in the European Union, we will consider their request," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on August 27.
