Volume of oil production from Absheron field announced

Last year, 300,000 tons of oil (condensate) were produced from Absheron, the second-largest gas-condensate field in the Caspian Sea after the Shah Deniz field, Report informs, citing the operative data of the Ministry of Energy for 2023.
Azerbaijan produced 30.2 million tons of oil (including condensate) in 2023 (-2.4 million tons, or 7.36%). Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli accounted for 17.8 million tons of oil (-2.6 million tons, or 12.7%) produced in the republic, and Shah Deniz for 4.3 million tons (including condensate) (-0.1 million tons, or 2.27%). SOCAR's oil output amounted to 7.8 million (the same) tons (including condensate).
