Volume of oil production from Absheron field announced

This year, 200,000 tons of oil (condensate) were produced from Absheron, the second-largest gas-condensate field in the Caspian Sea after the Shah Deniz field, Report informs, citing the operative data of the Ministry of Energy for 10 months.
Azerbaijan produced 25.3 million tons of oil (including condensate) in January–October 2023 (-1.9 million tons, or 7%). Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli accounted for 15 million tons of oil (-2.1 million tons, or 12.3%) produced in the republic, and Shah Deniz for 3.6 million (the same) tons (including condensate). SOCAR's oil output amounted to 6.5 million (the same) tons (including condensate).
