Volume of gas and condensate production from Shah Deniz field in 2024

In January-September 2024, about 20 billion standard cubic meters of gas and more than 3 million tons (approximately 26 million barrels) of condensate were produced from the Shah Deniz field (Shah Deniz Alpha and Shah Deniz Bravo platforms), Report informs, citing the third quarter business report released by the field operator bp-Azerbaijan together with its partners.

Compared to the nine months of last year, gas and condensate production volumes remained the same.

During the reporting period, gas delivery continued from the Shah Deniz field to Azerbaijan (to Azercontract CJSC), Georgia (to GOGC company), Türkiye (to BOTAS company), to BTC for numerous facilities, and to buyers in Europe.

The current production capacity of Shah Deniz facilities is 80.7 million standard cubic meters per day (more than 29.5 billion annually).
