VNG chief: Azerbaijan remains key, reliable energy partner for Europe

Azerbaijan remains one of Europe's key and reliable partners in the energy sector, playing an important role in ensuring the continent's energy security and diversifying gas supply sources, VNG AG CEO Ulf Heitmüller said at Baku Energy Week, Report informs.

According to him, reliable energy partners are becoming especially valuable in the current geopolitical environment.

"We highly appreciate Azerbaijan's contribution to ensuring energy security. Supplies of Azerbaijani gas to Europe play an important role in diversifying Europe's energy sources," Heitmüller said.
