UK reduces oil imports from Azerbaijan by over 29%

In January-July of 2025, Azerbaijan exported just over 459,741 tons of crude oil to the UK, valued at more than $212.8 million, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

Compared to the first seven months of 2024, the exports decreased by 29.3% in volume, and dropped by 45.5% in value.

During this period, the share of crude oil exported to the UK in Azerbaijan’s total oil exports was 3.2%.

According to the customs declarations, in total, Azerbaijan exported more than 14.470 million tons of crude oil and related products obtained from bituminous rocks, valued at more than $7.660 billion in the initial seven months of 2025.

In that period, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth approximately $28.842 billion.
