Transit oil transportation via BTC pipeline down

From January through October 2021, 29.09 million tons of oil were transported via Azerbaijan’s main oil pipelines, 0.7% less than in the same period last year, Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
During the ten months of 2021, 74.9% of the transportation was carried out via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil export pipeline.
During the reporting period, 21.777 million tons of oil were transported through the BTC, 6.3% less compared to the same period last year.
Over the past ten months, more than 2.81 million tons of transit oil were transported via the BTC pipeline, which is 15.3% less than in January-October 2020.
