STAR refinery's petroleum coke production in Türkiye up by over 5%

In January-April 2025, the STAR refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced more than 268,051 tons of petroleum coke, Report informs, citing the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Türkiye (EMRA).

This is 13,681 tons or 5.4% more than in the four months of 2024.

In April, STAR refinery produced about 61,568 tons of petroleum coke, which is 2,906 tons or 4.5% less than in April of last year.

In general, in the four months of this year, a total of about 571,607 tons of petroleum coke were produced by oil refineries in Türkiye, which is 170,934 tons or 42.7% more than in the four months of 2024.

In April alone, a total of over 129,458 tons of petroleum coke were produced by oil refineries in Türkiye, which is 64,985 tons or 2 times more than in April 2024.
