STAR Refinery's LPG production rises by nearly 8%

The STAR Refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced about 16,049 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in January 2024, Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulation Authority (EMRA).
This is an increase of 7.94 percent, or 1,181 tons, compared to the corresponding period in 2023.
In January 2024, about 74,647 tons of LPG were produced by oil refineries in Türkiye, which is 673 tons, or 0.93%, more than in January 2022.
