STAR refinery reduces crude oil imports in September

In September 2024, STAR Oil Refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye imported 62,581 tons of crude oil, Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).
This amounts to 3.71% of crude oil imported to Türkiye.
The volume of oil imported for the STAR refinery was 942,959 tons or 16.1 times less compared to the same month in 2023.
In September, oil refineries producing petroleum products in Türkiye imported 1,686,454 tons of crude oil, 1,275,208 tons or 43.05% less compared to the same month last year.
