STAR refinery accounts for over 60% of total petroleum coke produced in Türkiye

The STAR refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced nearly 61,279 tons of petroleum coke in July 2023, down 7,669 tons, or 11.1%, year-on-year, Report informs referring to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
The STAR refinery accounted for 60.57% of the total petroleum coke produced in Türkiye.
In the reporting period, a total of 101,160 tons of petroleum coke were produced at the Turkish refineries, 56,026 tons, or 35.6%, less than in the same period in 2022.
