STAR refinery accounts for 47% of total petroleum coke produced in Türkiye

The STAR refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced over 75,471 tons of petroleum coke in October 2023, up 14,453 tons, or 11.6%, year-on-year, Report informs referring to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
The STAR refinery accounted for 47.09% of the total petroleum coke produced in Türkiye.
In the reporting period, a total of 160,261 tons of petroleum coke were produced at the Turkish refineries, 21,918 tons, or 15.8%, more than in the same period in 2022.
