SOCAR, TotalEnergies mull second stage of development of Absheron field

The President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Rovshan Najaf, met with the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer at TotalEnergies, Patrick Pouyanné, Report informs.

SOCAR and TotalEnergies reviewed the steps taken on the second stage of the development of the Absheron gas-condensate field located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.

At the meeting, current operations, technical and technological security systems, as well as opportunities for cooperation in the field of energy under the Early Production Scheme (EPS) project were reviewed, and other issues of mutual interest were exchanged.
