SOCAR, TotalEnergies discuss cooperation in green energy field 

The President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Rovshan Najaf, met with TotalEnergies senior vice president for European exploration and production, Jean-Luc Guiziou, Report informs, citing SOCAR.

The meeting discussed the expansion of cooperation in the field of green energy.

The parties reviewed the work done under the Cooperation Agreement on the full-scale development of the "Absheron" gas-condensate field, as well as the implementation of methane gas detection and measurement campaigns by drones between "TotalEnergies" and SOCAR.

The sides also exchanged views on the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the fields of oil and gas, green energy, decarbonization, and other issues of mutual interest.
