SOCAR strengthens security measures at production sites due to wind

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has strengthened security measures at production sites due to worsening weather conditions, Report informs referring to SOCAR.
Work in production areas that may pose a hazard in such weather conditions is limited as much as possible. Measures have also been taken to protect the health of workers.
According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, the speed of the northwest wind in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula today reached 30 m/s, and the wave height in the Caspian Sea was 3.8 meters.
