SOCAR beefs up security measures at production sites

The Azneft production association of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has strengthened security measures at production sites amid worsening weather, SOCAR said in response to Report's inquiry.

According to the information, hazardous work is limited, and appropriate measures have been taken to preserve the workers' health within the framework of labor standards.

In addition, educational events are held at all sites.

According to the National Hydrometeorology Service, the speed of the north-west wind in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula in some places increased to 33 m/s. According to the Oil Rocks station, the wave height in the Caspian Sea was 4 meters.
