SOCAR starts supplying gas to Slovenia

From August 1, 2024, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) started supplying gas to Slovenia, Report informs, citing the company.
Gas supply is carried out according to the Memorandum of Understanding between SOCAR and Geoplin, the largest company in the natural gas market of Slovenia, on the expansion of cooperation in the field of gas supply signed on July 17. SOCAR and Geoplin aim to further develop their long-term energy partnership.
Thus, along with Türkiye, Georgia, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Serbia, Slovenia becomes the ninth country buying Azerbaijani gas.
