SOCAR sees slight decrease in oil production

In 2023, 7,736,202 tons of oil were produced at fields operated by the State Oil Company (SOCAR), independently or as a major shareholder, which is 49,084 tons or 0.63% less than in the same period in 2022, Report informs referring to SOCAR’s report on drilling, production, refining and export of oil for last year.
In general, 30,148,157 tons of crude oil were produced in Azerbaijan during the year, which is 2,498,249 tons, or 7.66% less than in 2022.
In 2022, 7,785,286 tons of crude oil were produced at fields operated by SOCAR independently or as a major shareholder, and 32,646,406 tons in Azerbaijan.
