SOCAR’s department remains leader in non-oil, gas exports among state-owned enterprises

In January-April of 2025, Azerbaijan’s state enterprises saw a familiar leader in non-oil-gas exports—the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan's (SOCAR) Marketing and Economic Operations Department, which recorded $140.8 million in exports, Report informs.

According to the May issue of the Export Review by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications (CAERC), SOCAR Polymer LLC—where SOCAR holds a 57% stake—ranked second with $82.5 million in exports, followed by AzerGold CJSC with $68.4 million, and Azeraluminium LLC, managed by Azerbaijan Investment Holding, with $49.6 million.

Other enterprises in the ranking include SOCAR’s Gas Export Department ($26.9 million), Azerpambig Agrarian Industrial Complex LLC ($16.2 million), Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC ($5.8 million), Azerenerji OJSC ($1.8 million), Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic’s State Energy Service ($324,000), and Garadagh Glass Factory OJSC ($59,800).
