SOCAR reduced oil and gas processing in 2024

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) processed almost 5.81 million tons of oil in 2024, Report informs with reference to SOCAR's update on drilling, production, processing and export indicators for the past year.
SOCAR stated that this is 480,901 tons or 7.6% less compared to the 2023 figure.
At the same time, the company processed over 3.377 billion cubic meters of gas last year, which is 129.31 million cubic meters or 3.7% less compared to the 2023 figures.
In 2023, SOCAR processed 6.29 million tons of oil and almost 3.507 billion cubic meters of gas.
