SOCAR more than doubles oil exports in 2023

Last year, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) increased its oil exports by 2.2 times to 3.1 million tons, according to the operational data released by the Ministry of Energy for 2023, Report informs.
In 2023, Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) exported about 22.1 million tons of oil, 2.8 million tons, or 11.2%, less than in 2022.
In total, Azerbaijan exported 25.2 million tons of oil (including condensate) during the reporting period, down 1.1 million tons, or 4.2%, from 2022.
