SOCAR more than doubles oil exports

In January-October this year, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported about 2.5 million tons of oil, up 1.3 million tons, or 2.1 times, from the previous year, Report informs referring to the Energy Ministry.
During the reporting period, 21 million tons of oil (including condensate) were exported from Azerbaijan to foreign countries, 0.9 million tons, or 4.1%, less than in ten months of 2022.
AIOC exported about 18.5 million tons of oil, which is 2.2 million tons, or 10.6%, less than a year earlier.
The first oil from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field block, located approximately 100 km from the coast of Azerbaijan, was produced in 1997.
