SOCAR launches well No. 18 in Umid field 

Drilling of production well U1-18 from the Umid-1 platform at a depth of 6,120 meters has been successfully completed, and the 7th horizon of the productive layer has been opened fully, Report informs, citing SOCAR.

In order to increase the efficiency of the development of the offshore block "Umid-Babek," next optimization measures have been taken in the well construction as a result of exploration works in both previously drilled wells and this well, and the daily gas production capacity increased from 0.75 million cubic meters to 3 million cubic meters and condensate production from 120 to 500 tons.
