The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has launched a new training program on compliance, reaffirming its commitment to international standards and high ethical principles.
According to Report, the first session of the program, organized by The Consultant Global, was attended by the President of SOCAR, vice presidents, as well as heads of structural departments and subsidiaries.
The training covers topics related to building a compliance culture, the requirements of the updated SOCAR Code of Business Ethics and Conduct, and other internal documents aligned with international practices. The sessions are held in an interactive format with an emphasis on discussing practical situations and regulating internal business processes.
The new system places special focus on preventing corruption, identifying violations of ethical norms, and establishing transparent rules for interactions with third parties. The program is designed for employees not only at the headquarters but also across all SOCAR structures.
