SOCAR, IMF mull energy transition and digitalization

An exchange of views took place between Azerbaijan's State Oil Company (SOCAR) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on issues of energy transition and digitalization, Report informs citing SOCAR.
A meeting was held with the head of the IMF mission for Azerbaijan, Anna Bordon.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the development of effective cooperation between Azerbaijan and the IMF.
Information was presented on global energy projects implemented at the initiative of Azerbaijan, including joint steps with partners to expand the Southern Gas Corridor, SOCAR’s strategic goals, and a new operating model.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
