SOCAR Green working on production of green equipment in Azerbaijan

SOCAR Green, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), is working on the production of green equipment in Azerbaijan, Director of SOCAR Green Elmir Musayev told an event themed “Innovative paths towards a greener future: Renewable energy and emission reduction” held in Baku, Report informs.

According to Musayev, the company is working on organizing the production of equipment to be used for green energy in Azerbaijan:

"We are doing some feasibility studies. But there are broader economic aspects to this. Since Azerbaijan is a small country, it might be a bit difficult to target only Azerbaijan for such production. It requires a broader scale. Moreover, there are some economic difficulties in this issue. So we are trying to find some solutions that we can offer to the government."
