SOCAR enhances safety measures at production sites amid adverse weather conditions

In response to windy and unstable weather conditions across Azerbaijan, the Azneft Production Union of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has intensified safety measures at its production sites, SOCAR told Report.

The company stated that steps have been taken to ensure worker health and safety in accordance with labor standards. "Awareness efforts are being carried out across all locations, and the situation is being continuously monitored," SOCAR noted.

Weather forecasts indicate that from the night of April 14 to 15 in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, intermittent rain, lightning, and heavy downpours are expected, with intensified rainfall likely on April 16. The adverse weather may include strong winds and could lead to flooding in certain areas of the Absheron Peninsula.
