SOCAR beefs up security at offshore facilities due to strong winds

Due to a sharp change in weather conditions from late February 7 to noon on February 10, security measures have been strengthened at the Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) offshore facilities, SOCAR told Report.
Work at production sites is limited as much as possible.
The National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources announced that from the second half of February 7 until noon on February 10, the speed of the north and north-west wind will increase to 18-23 m/s in the Caspian Sea, and sometimes reach 25- 28 m/s.
