SOCAR announces amount of investments in Romania

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has invested $69 million in the economy of Romania, SOCAR’s Vice President Kanan Najafov said at the 6th meeting of the Joint Commission on Trade, Economic and Scientific Cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan and Romania held in Baku, Report informs.
“Currently, SOCAR has 729 employees in Romania. The company operates 67 filling stations and 3 fuel storage depots in this country. We are interested in cooperation with the Romanian companies,” he added.
