SOCAR and IMF mull renewable energy and gas export infrastructure

Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company (SOCAR) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) held a mutual exchange of views on renewable energy and gas export infrastructure, Report informs, citing SOCAR.
According to SOCAR, the discussions took place during a meeting with a delegation led by Anna Bordon, head of the IMF mission to Azerbaijan.
The meeting focused on the development dynamics of the oil and gas sector, production forecasts, investments, and ongoing efforts within the framework of energy transition.
Additionally, both parties exchanged views on renewable energy, gas export infrastructure, and other related areas.
