Shale oil production expected to increase in US

Shale oil production in the United States will increase by 85,000 barrels per day in December compared to November and will reach 8.316 million barrels, Report informs, citing the US Department of Energy.
In November, actual shale oil production was slightly higher than the Department's previous forecast - 8.231 million barrels per day against 8.219 million barrels.
Production is expected to increase in six of the seven oil-producing regions where hard-to-recover oil is concentrated. The largest increase is projected in the Permian Basin.
