Romania remains committed to the expansion of the Southern Gas Corridor, a project of strategic significance for Europe's energy security, Romanian Energy Minister Sebastian-Ioan Burduja stated, Report informs.
He made the remark at the 11th Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the 3rd Ministerial Meeting of the Green Energy Advisory Council.
According to Burduja, extending the corridor to Southeastern Europe and the Balkans is a crucial step in securing a reliable, predictable, and competitive energy supply for the region.
The minister emphasized that the ministerial meeting in Baku serves as an essential platform for dialogue, cooperation, and coordinated efforts among partners pursuing a shared objective.
