Samir Valiyev: Amending bill on electricity aims to more accurately reflect costs in tariffs

The main goal of the amendments to the bill on electricity is to more accurately reflect costs in tariffs, Deputy Minister of Energy Samir Valiyev said at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology discussing the bill, Report informs.
According to Valiyev, this bill is the next important step taken towards the application of the tariff methodology for improving tariff regulation in the field of utility services in Azerbaijan: "The main goal of this approach, this innovation, is to more accurately reflect costs in tariffs. Regardless of the status of the consumer or the level of use of utility services, a fairer approach will be applied."
