Putin orders inspection of tanker fleet

Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev to organize an inspection of the technical condition of Russia's tanker fleet, Report informs via Russian media.
Putin gave the instruction on Thursday during a meeting with government members.
Additionally, the president ordered a review of the existing capabilities for managing the consequences of technological accidents similar to the one that occurred with tankers in the Black Sea.
"It's clear that this is complex work that immediately affects the activities of several departments. From your position as Deputy Prime Minister, it will be convenient to handle this. Therefore, I ask you to organize all of this and then report," Putin said.
