Parviz Shahbazov: Azerbaijan, Türkiye have great opportunities to build green future in region

Azerbaijan and Türkiye are allies that have great opportunities to jointly build a green future in the region, an exemplary model of energy cooperation, and strong political support in the form of state leaders, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said at the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum, Report informs.

According to him, the restoration of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, the establishment of new energy communication relations between Nakhchivan and Türkiye, the increase in the strategic importance of the Middle Corridor, and the strengthening of the role of green energy as an important component of energy security and energy transition in the world open new opportunities for fraternal relations, including the energy union.

The minister emphasized that since the signing of the Contract of the Century until today, each of the achievements in the field of energy has the signature of Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
