Pakistani oil minister expresses support for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity

President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovshan Najaf has met with Pakistani Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Masood Malik, Report informs referring to SOCAR’s public relations and communications service.

At the beginning of the meeting, Musadik Masood Malik once again expressed Pakistan’s support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, and expressed condolences to the families of the Azerbaijani martyrs who died while preventing large-scale provocations of the Armenian armed forces.

During the conversation, it was emphasized that the Azerbaijani-Pakistani relations are successfully developing in various fields, as well as the prospects for mutual cooperation in the oil and gas sector, especially the trade in petroleum products, the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG).

SOCAR’s long-term strategic initiatives were discussed, the minister was informed about regional and global energy projects, as well as investments made in foreign countries.

In this regard, potential opportunities for cooperation with Pakistani companies were considered.
