Orkhan Zeynalov: Azerbaijan to begin hydrogen production in 2035

Hydrogen production in Azerbaijan is set to begin in 2035, Deputy Minister of Energy Orkhan Zeynalov said during a panel discussion as part of the Baku Energy Forum.
According to Report, the deputy minister highlighted that Azerbaijan has been making significant investments in its transition to green energy in recent years: "By 2030, more than 6 gigawatts of green energy capacity is expected to be commissioned, of which 4 gigawatts will be allocated for export. The export of green energy will be carried out via the Caspian–Black Sea–Europe corridor through a phased approach. In the next phase, starting in 2035, hydrogen production will be launched."
