Natural gas tariffs go up in Turkey

Turkish state-owned company Botas has unveiled natural gas tariffs for January.
Report informs citing the Turkish press that the tariffs for natural gas in Turkey have increased by 25% for the population, by 50% for the industrial sector, and by 15% for electricity producers.
As a result, the price for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas for the population totaled TRY1,860. For subscribers of the industrial sector with an annual consumption of more than 300,000 cubic meters, the tariff was increased to TRY6,300, and for electricity producers - up to TRY5,520.
