Mirziyoyev meets with head of China's major energy company in Beijing

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Chairman of the State Grid company, Xin Baoan, Report informs via Uzbek media.

The meeting was held during the working visit of the head of Uzbekistan to Beijing.

"Issues regarding the implementation of promising projects with the participation of the Chinese company were discussed, including the construction of high-voltage power lines and the modernization of infrastructure facilities, with the introduction of advanced engineering solutions and high technologies,” the press service of the Uzbek president said.

Particular attention was paid to training qualified specialists for the energy industry of Uzbekistan.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to adopt a “road map” to accelerate joint projects.
