Mikayil Jabbarov: Türkiye-Syria pipeline boosts Azerbaijan's gas export reach

The opening of the Türkiye-Syria Natural Gas Pipeline will contribute to the expansion of Azerbaijan's gas export geography in new directions, the Economy Minister of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov wrote in a post on X, Report informs.

"Today, our country enters another important stage on the path of economic development. The opening of the Türkiye-Syria Natural Gas Pipeline, which will ensure the export of Azerbaijani gas to Syria through Turkish territory, with the participation of our international partners and colleagues, once again demonstrated that our country is a reliable and strategic energy supplier.

This project, which expresses the successful cooperation of Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Syria in the energy sector, will make new contributions to the expansion of our country's gas export geography in new directions," the minister noted.
