Masdar exploring possibility of producing green hydrogen and green ammonia in Azerbaijan

The UAE company Masdar is conducting marketing research on the production of green hydrogen and green ammonia in Azerbaijan, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said at a meeting with Masdar executive director Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi within the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) in Dubai, Report informs referring to the Energy Ministry.

The minister noted that cooperation with Masdar on projects in the field of renewable energy sources for 10 GW is of particular importance in achieving the goals of developing green energy and reducing carbon emissions in Azerbaijan.
