On July 4-5, the Georgian city of Batumi will host crucial discussions on exporting Kazakhstani oil and Turkmen petroleum products to Georgia via Azerbaijan. According to Report, the meeting, organized by Confidence Information Services, is expected to bring together over 200 industry representatives to explore the specifics and trends in cargo transportation.

The Executive Retreat (dubbed a "meeting without ties") has been held in Batumi for the third consecutive year, providing an excellent platform for establishing connections, Confidence Information Services said in a statement.

Participants will delve into the peculiarities of the Trans-Caspian route and the activities of Georgian terminals in the current geopolitical context.

The agenda also includes an examination of the oil and petroleum product market conditions in the Black Sea-Mediterranean region, the Trans-Caspian transit of Kazakhstani oil, and the export of Turkmen petroleum products to Georgia through Azerbaijan, focusing on assortment and specifics.

Attendees will separately discuss Azerbaijan's refining capacities and the infrastructure for receiving, transporting, and transshipping Kazakhstani, Azerbaijani, and Turkmen cargo. The Caspian ship freight market and freight rate forecasts, as well as the capabilities of the ports of Turkmenbashi, Aktau, and Azerbaijan's oil loading terminals, will also be on the table.

The event includes a technical visit to the Kulevi terminal on July 5.
