Iran to resume offshore oil and gas exploration

Iran plans to resume exploration for oil and gas fields in the Persian Gulf in 2025.
Report informs via Mehr that the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) will carry out the exploration work.
Iran had suspended offshore exploration in 2019 due to a shortage of offshore drilling rigs. However, the country has now found a supplier for the necessary equipment.
