Iran ready to transit Russian gas through its territory

Iran is interested in the transit of Russian gas through its territory, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali said, Report informs via Russian media.
"As you know, there are already five fields in which Russia invests and develops. Regarding natural gas, I can say that there are two fields in the south of Iran, and we are keen to collaborate with the Russian Federation," Jalali told reporters in Astrakhan.
Jalali confirmed that Iran is ready to transport Russian gas through its territory.
He also highlighted Iran’s readiness for Russian Lukoil to increase its activities in the republic: “We have always informed Lukoil that we are open to their investments. We are in constant discussions with the company’s CEO.”
