Windy weather has returned to Germany, pushing down electricity prices in a market already contending with a boom in solar power, Report informs via Bloomberg.
The country has seen much more blustery weather this month, restoring wind-energy generation after prolonged periods of unusually calm conditions during the winter.
That’s dragging prices below zero more of the time, wiping out returns for investors but also forcing costlier, fossil-fueled generators offline.
