GECO Power Company's Roadmap assessed

GECO Power Company's Roadmap was assessed in Baku, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said on X, Report informs.

"An Informal Steering Committee/Ministerial Meeting on the establishment of the 'Green Energy' corridor between Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, and Hungary was held in Baku, with the participation of European Union (EU) Commissioner for Energy and Housing Dan Joergensen," Shahbazov wrote on X.

During the meeting, progress on Bulgaria's integration into the project, the fiber-optic component of the corridor, and the preparation of the necessary application for the project's inclusion in the EU's Ten-Year Network Development Plan (TYNDP), along with the review of GECO Power Company's Roadmap were assessed.
