Gas prices in Europe drop below $2,300

Gas prices in Europe at the opening of trading on September 2 fell below $2,300 per 1,000 cubic meters, according to the London ICE exchange, Report informs referring to TASS.
The price of October futures at the TTF hub in the Netherlands fell to $2,279 per 1,000 cubic meters.
Last week, the spot price of gas in Europe during trading on the London ICE exchange exceeded $3,500 per 1,000 cubic meters for the first time since the beginning of March, having approached a historic record - on March 7, 2022, the exchange price of gas almost reached $3,900.
