Energy dialogue between Azerbaijan and EU continues

Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov met with European Union Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.

According to Report, at the meeting it was emphasized that the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, opens up great opportunities for further expanding cooperation in various areas in the energy sector.

The event focused on the expansion of the Southern Gas Corridor, cooperation in the field of decarbonization, energy transition, renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, electricity, green energy technologies.
