Emin Huseynov: Work in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh must be carried out in line with green zone concept

Rehabilitation and construction work in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh must be carried out in accordance with the most modern urban planning standards and the green zone concept, Azerbaijani president’s special representative in the territories liberated from occupation included in the Karabakh economic region (with the exception of the Shusha district), Emin Huseynov, told journalists, Report informs.

He noted that it is necessary to use modern environmental solutions involving alternative energy sources.

Huseynov reminded that as part of the First State Program of the “Great Return”, some former internally displaced persons have already returned to their native lands. “By 2026, it is planned to ensure the return of a total of 34,500 families, about 140,000 people,” Huseynov said.
