The work carried out in Karabakh and East Zangazur towards the transition to green energy can serve as an example for a number of countries, Deputy Minister of Energy Elnur Soltanov said at a meeting of the working group on energy supply issues, according to Report.
The deputy minister noted that the projects and activities implemented in Karabakh are noteworthy not only on a regional but also on a national scale: “It is difficult to find a geographical region that bears such a strategic and moral responsibility in many countries. There are few countries that have a region which bears such a responsibility. Azerbaijan is both restoring historical justice in this geography and applying modern approaches aimed at the future. Even during the COVID-19 period, our country has demonstrated new models in tourism and other areas, and this experience is now being applied in Karabakh."
Soltanov added that even people who have visited these areas many times find it difficult to express their feelings in words: "It is not easy to express the feelings experienced in these lands. However, I am sure that we can keep these feelings alive with the work we do, the activities we carry out, and the quality we show. Emotions are natural, we can have feelings, but as civil servants, our main task is to turn these feelings into practical action."
